St. Philip Lutheran Church

Myrtle Beach, SC

Welcome to St. Philip Lutheran Church.

St. Philip Lutheran Church exists to welcome all people into its fellowship, to teach all people the good news of Jesus Christ, to encourage all people to remain faithful disciples, and to serve all people, following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are the home of a great Myrtle Beach Preschool. Be sure to check it out!

Regular Worship and Study

We celebrate Holy Communion, open to all, each week on Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

Adult Bible Study begins at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We are currently discussing the Gospel of John.

You can find our more about St. Philip Lutheran worship services and schedule, including our Lenten worship schedule.

Forward in Faith Vision and Plan

Near the beginning of 2017, the Congregation Council of St. Philip Lutheran Church began to sense the need for a long-term visioning process. The Forward in Faith Vision and Plan is the fruit of the process. We encourage you to read and join with us as we make this future a reality for St. Philip.

Wednesday Night Small Group - 6:30 p.m.

Our Small Group is on hiatus until after Easter. Join us for our Lenten worship and meal!

Our Wednesday night Small Group will reconvene with a new book to read and discuss. “What Is the Bible?” By Rob Bell provides surprising insights and answers about how the Bible actually works as a source of faith and guidance, showcasing a new way of reading this sacred text. Bell takes us deep into actual passages, revealing not only the humanity behind the scriptures but the revelation that one cannot get to the holy without going through the human. “What Is the Bible?” recaptures this ancient library’s subversive energy and reaffirms its enduring ability to inspire and shape our lives today.

Our Location:

We are located at the corner of 62nd Ave North and Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.
